Aquafaba is invaluable in the vegan/egg-free kitchen. Here, I’ve compiled a motherlode of recipes utilizing it in every way imaginable.
Aquafaba, which is the liquid from cooking beans and other legumes (even peas and tofu!), used to be just a waste product until a few years ago. Since its properties were discovered, now we know it can be used to replace egg whites, whole eggs, and oil.
Mostly used as an egg replacer in sweet recipes, it can also be used to replace oil in dressings and air frying for savory recipes.
While knowledge of aquafaba has grown, so has the recipe collection across the world. I’ve made this huge list of quality vegan aquafaba recipes for you, and I’ll be adding more as I come across them. So expect this list to grow, too!
Also, you may find yourself in quite the surplus of chickpeas – if that’s the case, my other post with 21 Vegan Recipes Using Garbanzo Beans might come in handy. 😉
Please enjoy this list, and let me know if you make one of these amazing vegan aquafaba recipes!
And a very special thank you to all of the other bloggers (especially my friend Kat from 86eats) who contributed to this list. Check out their pages for more great content.
