This is typically January to March, mid-April to May, and September to early December – excluding school holidays and special events. If your schedule allows, aim to visit on weekdays rather than weekends.

Disneyland Paris on a Budget: It's all about Timing

If you can, avoid school holidays and weekends at all costs. Train, tickets and hotel prices all increase during this period, and at weekends. If you're booking a package holiday with Disney, the cheapest time to go is in between Christmas and spring.

The great thing about Disneyland Paris is that it really does cater to families of all ages, not just the little ones as you might expect. The park offers exciting entertainment for toddlers, a range of attractions for those around the ages of 8 - 14, and then the biggest rollercoasters for anyone who dares!

Having closed with the rest of the resort in March 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel did not reopen but instead underwent an extensive refurbishment, which was announced in April 2021. The refurbished hotel reopened on 25 January 2024.

A perk that makes staying at Disneyland Hotel Paris worthwhile is the proximity to the parks. Not having to shlep in on the RER in the morning in definitely a massive bonus! The hour of extra magic hour is also such a game changer, for the luxury of experiencing the park without the crowds and queues.

Disneyland is expensive everywhere. It is centralized entertainment that can be experienced for hours, if not days. You are paying for that extended entertainment experience, plus the upkeep & employee salaries for such a place.

Up until the end of 2022, a 21 Royal reservation was priced at $15,000; it is now $18,000. Assuming a group maxes out the number of guests at 12, if divided evenly, each guest is spending $1,500. This does include all taxes and gratuity.

Disneyland Hotel Signature Suites sleep four to five and cost roughly $4,200 per night. Paradise Pier Signature Suites can sleep as many as 13 and are $2,700-$2,800 per night.

Today, guests cannot spend the night inside the suite. The suite, now named 21 Royal, is reserved for backstage videos and promotions as well as VIP guests and celebrities. Guests can, however, reserve the space for a dinner experience with 11 of their closest friends and a price tag of $15,000.
