Dr Tara Francis

Dr Tara Francis has gained a trustworthy reputation within the field of facial aesthetics, immediately after graduating from King’s College London, focusing on enhancing the natural beauty you already possess.

Dr Tara was the resident Aesthetic Doctor at Harvey Nichols for 3 years before leaving to act as Director of Aesthetics and building her own team at Twoth, in St John’s Wood. Dr Tara Francis is an ambassador for Obagi Medical and sits on the faculty of Teoxane.

Dr Tara’s main aim is to provide natural looking results and believes in treating a patient holistically, and individually, tailoring each treatment plan to the patient's specific needs. She feels strongly about declining treatments that she feels are inappropriate, not suitable, or will not meet the patient’s expectations. It is these strengths that Dr Tara brings to The LAAM.

Dr Tara’s dedication to the medical aesthetics industry is clear and ever-growing, and this shows through her work, her commitment to achieving excellence, and the consistent positive feedback from patients.

She specialises in teaching advanced injectable treatments including tear trough, profile balancing (nose, chin, lips), lip enhancements, and non-surgical nose enhancement.

Dr wassim taktouk

Dr Wassim Taktouk has been a leading figure in Aesthetic Medicine for over a decade. He qualified from St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine. He has featured in many of the leading magazines and newspapers as the ‘go-to’ expert and all things ‘aesthetic’. He is a member of The British College of Aesthetic Medicine.

In 2022 Dr Wassim was announced as a Global KOL for Teoxane, one of the world’s leading dermal filler companies and as part of this role lectures and mentors medical professionals about dermal fillers around the world.

A Beauty Editor’s favourite, Dr Wassim has featured in the pages of ELLE, Hello!, Harper’s Bazaar, ES, Glamour, Sheerluxe, Tatler and The Guardian. He also appeared in the BBC documentary ‘The Truth About Cosmetic Treatments’.

He has been named one of London’s Top Doctors for injectables in The Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guides 2020, 2021 and 2022 Harper’s Bazaar and Sheerluxe.

Dr Wassim was the resident doctor at Harvey Nichols, The Rita Rakus Clinic and Teresa Tarmey Skincare’s London Flagship in Belgravia. He has now set up Taktouk Clinic on Sloane Street, London.

Dr Pamela Benito is an award-winning specialist aesthetic doctor with over ten years of clinical experience and a passion for artistry in her approach.

Dr Benito consults across a number of respected clinics in Central London and is an award winning trainer for Teoxane Academy, delivering advanced injectables mentoring to other medical professionals.

She is most renowned for her passion about aesthetics and her attention to detail makes her highly skilled at facial assessments and treatment protocols. As a caring practitioner, she has earned the trust and respect of her patients. Dr. Benito believes in achieving beautiful, natural results and offers the advantages of a combined treatment approach to address your aesthetic enhancement desires. She provides bespoke skin treatments with a holistic approach to help enhance each individual patient.Her work has been recognised by Tatler Magazine where she has been awarded Best for Threads in UK.

As a leading aesthetic practitioner, Dr Benito is regularly featured in national newspapers and magazines for her expertise in skincare and aesthetic treatments.We are delighted to have Dr Pam on our faculty.

Karen Addison RGN/INP

Leading Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner Karen Addison began her career within the field of medical aesthetics whilst maintaining a successful nursing career at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Karen graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University 2006 (RGN) and completed her Independent Nurse Prescribing Qualification at University of West Scotland 2011 (INP). Karen completed her medical aesthetics training in 2007 and whilst working as a Senior Staff Nurse at Glasgow Royal Infirmary for over a decade she began her successful career within aesthetics. One of her proudest achievements was founding her successful and now very established medical aesthetic clinic Sur Medispa. Karen is currently working towards her Masters in Aesthetic Medicine demonstrating her own commitments to training. Her CPD benefits both patients and colleagues, Karen relishes the opportunity to inspire individuals by sharing her knowledge through training others in her field.

Her journey into Clinical Education began in 2017 when joining the Teoxane Group as Faculty and Regional Trainer until 2021 when she joined the LAAM as part of their faculty of clinical educators; training medical professionals looking to start their own career in aesthetic medicine. Karen shares the same passion as her fellow faculty members and recognise the uniqueness as well as advantage that the LAAM's Ultimate Toxin and Ultimate Dermal Filler courses offers to delegates. Karen is extremely proud to be bringing this amazing team and unique training programme to Scotland.

Dr Sonia is a General dentist and Aesthetics Practitioner. She is passionate in both fields as her ethos is delivering a holistic approach to all patients in achieving their goals and confidence!

Dr Sonia is an award winning Aesthetic Practitioner, the prestigious Aesthetics Awards named her as a finalist for the Best Non-Surgical Result! She has undergone extensive training with her latest award this year 0f a Fellowship in Advanced Facial Aesthetics. She absolutely loves anatomy and tailors all her treatments to the patients own anatomy to achieve the best natural results!
