The campus is walkable, thousands of people my age surround me making it easier to find friends, and my classes challenge me. Overcoming my first semester was tough, but I could finally find belonging once I got my routine down. I like the campus layout, the coffee shops planted all around, and the feeling of independence. I would like to see a bigger variety of food options and a little renovation to the older buildings, but other than that it is a great university with great people!... I always look forward to going here and getting an education that works toward my desired career. I want to be able to become a physical therapist and USF does a good way of setting the path. The area itself is amazing, there are so many places to eat, so many foods of different cultures. Lots of boba, AYCE sushi, and a handful of hotpots! The people i meet at USF are very friendly and i dont know how so many people can be so hospitable. Theres so much diversity when you walk throughout campus, meeting so many different people of different cultures, its like the things you learn from different people just become a part of you! The rec center is also one of my go-to places because of the athletics. Whether i want to play volleyball, basketball, or just workout, i know exactly where to go. Another great thing about this school is the dorms! There are tons of activities and opportunities, plus great amenities! The rooms are great and very spacious, definitely worth the price. There is also a huge focus on equality and acceptance at this school. It's a safe space for all races, sexes, genders, ethnicities, etc. with classes like Critical Race Theory and Ethnic Studies to educate others. 17. University of Florida-Online4 Year (Online)•Rating 4.45 out of 5 49 reviewsFreshman: Overall the University of Florida is a very well rounded school. It's obviously known for being the top school academically in Florida, and the course rigger definitely lives up to that. It was an adjustment for sure going from highschool classes to UF classes. I am enrolled in UF online classes, but live in Gainesville to enjoy the campus life still. I love the energy and desire the students have, it is very contagious. The night life is fun too. The only thing I would suggest changing is some of these math professors don't show passion for what they are teaching. Math is a very hard subject for students to learn because it's precieved as boring to many. If professors dont teach the course with passion, how should they expect students to become passionate about the math course they are learning. A lot of learning is done through one's interest in a subject and if in lectures it does not seem like the professor is interested, the student won't he either.... Most of the classes I took were easy to navigate and adequately organized to ensure student success. It allowed me to do my best under optimum conditions, and I could tell the professors wanted their students to succeed. They were understanding in different situations.(For example, I had fallen off my electric bike and lost a few teeth, and my professors had given me extra time to complete the assignments that were due). When I had classes in person and went on campus, I felt safe and welcome, and it was easy to navigate and figure out where I was supposed to go. There were many options for different professors, and I could take the classes either in-person, online, or a hybrid mix, allowing for the students' variety.
