I was a double major at JU; I’ve obtained a BS in Kinesiology and a BA in Music. Both programs had great professors who all have definitely prepared me for graduate school (I’m currently a grad student at the University of Florida). I also love how small and close-knit the student community was at JU and it is something I definitely miss! The only downsides I’ve experienced at JU were crazy increases in tuition (private institute) and the lack of attention they paid to the music department. Our poor building was falling apart when I was a student there. The AC was broken for three years and some major pipes exploded and ruined many percussion instruments. When I was a student there, JU was always constantly building new buildings for the other colleges and remodeling classrooms, except for the music and fine arts department (which continues to fall apart till this day)....
